External bodies - the rules for entering ZVUS within supplier-customer relations 01/2017

 

The arrival of external bodies to ZVUS must either be recorded in writing at the reception of ZVUS in The Plant Visit-Book, Kampelíkova ul. 758/4, Hradec Králové) or registered by a responsible person representing ZVUS so that the purpose of the external body visit to the site of ZVUS could be determined later on (e.g. business visit to ZVUS, delivery of goods and consignments, delivery of materials, visit of a potential ZVUS supplier for the inspection of a future workplace, construction site in ZVUS, etc.)

The responsible person representing ZVUS shall pick up an external body at the reception of ZVUS plant at Kampelíkova 758/4, in the gatehouse of the plant at Pražská 344, Hradec Králové, or at other locations of ZVUS, e.g. in places designated for the receipt of material, delivery of products of both ZVUS plants, so that entry and movement of the external body in the premises of ZVUS is secured in an effective, efficient and safe manner.

External bodies - short and accompanied visits to ZVUS production areas

If an external body moves in the production areas of ZVUS accompanied by a responsible person representing ZVUS, they will be provided with Basic Safety Instructions of ZVUS (also available in English, German and Russian) by the responsible person and, if necessary, with personal protective equipment (blue helmet, reflective orange vest, goggles).

External bodies - suppliers working one-time in the ZVUS production areas.

This regards, for instance, truck drivers and drivers of other vehicles for loading and unloading. The external bodies shall comply with all the instructions, warnings and safety signs, in particular, regarding the compulsory use of helmets when entering the ZVUS production areas. They will be provided, upon request, with the Basic Safety Instructions of ZVUS by the responsible person representing ZVUS.

External bodies - suppliers working independently in ZVUS production areas in short term (max. 3 days)

must be approved by the manager of the relevant ZVUS department where the external body performs its activities, e.g. regular or frequent inspection activities, handovers, subcontracting work related to orders, repairs, service, etc. These external bodies must be trained in OHS (BOZP), FP of ZVUS, incl. OHS risks (mutual written communication about the OHS risks) according to the approved document of ZVUS BOZP_01: Training in OHS and FP, practical training, testing and informing about the risks. The training of these external bodies in OHS and FP is provided by a ZVUS OHS specialist or another authorized person on behalf of ZVUS, also in English, if necessary. External bodies - suppliers can use their own personal protective equipment.

External bodies - suppliers working in ZVUS production areas in the long term (more than 3 days)

must be authorised by the manager of the relevant ZVUS department where they perform work, they must be trained in OHS and ZVUS FP, including OHS risks (mutual written communication about the OHS risks) according to the approved document of ZVUS BOZP_01:

Training in OHS and FP, practical training, testing and informing about the risks. The external bodies shall also contractually commit themselves to comply with ZVUS safety standards no. 1-3 when performing work, i.e. confirm in writing the acceptance of workplace, meet the requirements of OHS and FP, including possible sanctions imposed by ZVUS, and meet other requirements of OHS and FP specified in ZVUS OHS and FP controlled documentation. The training of these external bodies in OHS and FP is also provided by a ZVUS OHS specialist in English, if necessary.

External bodies - suppliers can use their own personal protective equipment.
